Data Deletion
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Overview
Tattva Tarot has no accounts, and your readings, journal and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them, and we do not run our own servers, so there is no online account to close. Deleting the App's data on your device removes it completely.
What is stored on your device
- Reading history, questions and the cards drawn
- Journal entries, personal card meanings, notes and favourites
- Tattva Mirror insights and Guided Paths progress
- Downloaded decks, settings and preferences
- Cached Pro status and the anonymous identifiers used by Firebase and RevenueCat
Before deleting, you can keep a copy with Settings → Backup & Restore → Export backup, and save the file somewhere outside the App. A backup made with “Back up on this device” is stored inside the App and is deleted with it.
iPhone and iPad
- Touch and hold the Tattva Tarot icon on the Home Screen.
- Tap Remove App, then Delete App, and confirm.
Or go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Tattva Tarot → Delete App. Do not choose “Offload App”, which keeps your data.
If iCloud Backup is on, older device backups may still contain the App's data until they are replaced. You can manage backups in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups.
To stop advertising tracking without deleting anything: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn Tattva Tarot off.
Android
To delete data but keep the App installed:
- Open Settings → Apps → Tattva Tarot.
- Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage (or Clear data), and confirm.
To remove the App entirely, touch and hold its icon and choose Uninstall. To reset or delete your Advertising ID, go to Settings → Google → Ads.
Subscriptions
Deleting the App does not cancel Tattva Tarot Pro. Cancel in your App Store subscriptions (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions). Your purchase stays with your Apple or Google account, so you can restore it later.
Data held by service providers
Firebase (usage statistics and crash reports), Google AdMob (ads) and RevenueCat (subscriptions) hold data tied to random identifiers, not to your name or email. Deleting the App removes those identifiers from your device, so new data cannot be linked to the old records, which the providers delete under their own retention rules.
