The High Priestess tarot card meaning
- listen
- inner voice
- secret
- stillness
Upright
Trust your intuition and inner wisdom. Look below the surface.
Reversed
You may be ignoring your instincts or hidden feelings. Listen to yourself again.
In a reading
Not everything can be known through logic alone. The High Priestess sits at the threshold between what you know and what you sense. The answer you are looking for is already within you — you just need to be quiet enough to hear it.
What the card shows
A woman sits between two pillars holding a scroll, with a crescent moon at her feet. A veil hangs behind her. This card stands for intuition, hidden knowledge, and listening to your inner voice.
Advice
Trust your intuition over external opinions right now. Your inner knowing is sharp.
Watch for
Keeping secrets or withholding truth may create distance in relationships.
Opportunity
A deeper understanding is available if you turn inward rather than outward.
“What truth have you been reluctant to admit to yourself?”
Tarot is a tool for reflection, not prediction. It is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.
